OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The battery system through the inverter directly controls the AC pump, which requires storage batteries (can be added for backup – depending on the model). Advanced MPPT charging technology optimizes input power. The inverter has built-in motor overcurrent and overvoltage protection. The system operates automatically, automatically turning off when the pump has no water, and when the tank is full (if using a storage tank).
The current from the solar panel flows through the charge controller to the battery, the current from the outgoing battery is DC.
Therefore, with traditional water pumps that need to use alternating current, an inverter must be installed to convert DC into AC power.
