OPERATION PRINCIPLE
What is a load-carrying solar pump system?
This system is installed for customers who already have electricity from the grid, but want to save money on electricity used by irrigation pumps during the day. This is also known as grid-tied system, it is an inverter process that converts DC current from solar panels to generate alternating current with just enough capacity to serve the needs of irrigation pumps. In case of installing additional battery storage, the excess capacity will be pushed into the battery and used during power outages or at night. At this point, we can set it to choose the mode of following the load or connecting to the national grid. With the current policy from December 31, 2020, it is not feasible to resell excess electricity from solar energy to the state, but should only be used for household needs. Therefore, the system will be designed with enough pump capacity for irrigation during the day.
In the event of a sudden power failure, if there is a storage system, the system will automatically return to load tracking mode. This is considered the most effective method for households and businesses that need to use electricity continuously. Or suitable for areas with frequent power cuts. However, the installation cost will be quite high.
Therefore, customers should consider choosing which solution is the most cost-effective for their production activities.
